Good condition. Paper very slightly browned and slightly soiled. Verso: blank, with traces of former mounting.
Note: a nice etching by Christian Wilhelm Ernst Dietrich (1712-1774). Whereas it is clearly made in the manner of Rembrandt, we were not able to trace any 17th century original. Most likely this print is the own work of Dietrich in the style of Rembrandt. There is nonetheless a clear resemblance with Sheet of studies of men’s heads (Bartsch 366). For this reason, we have included this etching into our inventory.
